EP 18: Gilles de Rais - Baron de OG Serial Killer

EP 18: Gilles de Rais - Baron de OG Serial Killer

Zach takes the leash yet again as he leads us way back in time to the early 1400s to discuss Gilles de Rais. Gilles was possibly the first serial killer in recorded history. Gilles was born in France, fought in the 100 years war and even fought alongside Joan of Arc. The original Bluebeard was a wealthy, successful warrior who had a taste for torturing and murdering kids. Eventually Gilles was caught and confessed under threat of torture. There is some thought today, that Gilles may possibly be innocent, we will never know.

EP 17: Rita Gluzman - I married an Axe Murderer?

This week, we cover a promising young woman who fought through diversity and fought back against the oppressive Soviet Ukraine. She worked hard for a college education, fell in love, moved to the United States to live the American dream. So what was it that pushed her over the edge from being an activist to become an Axetivist? Failed love? Money? Or was it a combination of both that sent Rita into a blood rage?

EP 16: Amy Archer Gilligan - Geriatric Murder Factory

EP 16: Amy Archer Gilligan - Geriatric Murder Factory

It's Women's History Month and on this episode we go back in time to talk about a business pioneer, Amy Archer-Gilligan. Today, elderly care homes are common, but not back in the early 1900's. Amy's care home seemed to always be at max capacity but in order for Amy to keep making money she needed new residents. Old people, sometimes they can live a long time but that didn't quite fit Amy's business model. Elderly Care home or Murder Factory....let's just hope today's Elderly Care Homes aren't Murder Factories.

EP 15: George Fitzsimmons - The Karate Chop Killer

EP 15: George Fitzsimmons - The Karate Chop Killer

Being a trained killer, martial arts and fitness enthusiast while being hooked on amphetamines...surprisingly isn't always the best combination. We take a look into George's life, briefly dabble in his military experience, his love for martial arts, and we talk of his love for souvenir tomahawks. What he didn't love though, was those closet to him that were conspiring against him. His family. Deadly karate and paranoid delusion rarely go well together as we will discover in this episode.
